Connekt and VLM strengthen cooperation

Published on April 29, 2026

On Tuesday, April 21, Roland Bulder, chairman of VLM, and Marc Verhage, chairman of the board of Connekt, gave a strong boost to mutual cooperation. In Delft, they signed a partnership agreement that significantly strengthens the bond between both organizations.

The VLM professional association and the Connekt network organization have been anchored in the logistics world for many years. Both organizations possess a wealth of expertise and have networks reaching into the very capillaries of logistics. The coming year will be used to intensively share knowledge and contacts with each other.

A first highlight is the VLM Summer Event in June. On behalf of Connekt, Ruud Arts from the DIL (Digital Infrastructure Logistics) program will speak about the utility and necessity of automated, flexible, and secure data sharing within logistics chains and supply chains based on the Basic Data Infrastructure (BDI) framework. On behalf of the Connekt program Measuring and Improving CO₂ emissions, Bonne Goedhart will demonstrate how logistics companies can make their operations more efficient, resilient, and sustainable through the smarter deployment of people and equipment.

VLM and Connekt look forward to the cooperation and hope to involve many of their members enthusiastically and actively.
