CROW-KpVV aims to contribute to increasing government competence in the field of mobility.

CROW-KpVV serves all decentralized authorities: municipalities, provinces, city regions, water boards, and their umbrella organizations. It specifically targets policy officers, managers, and administrators who develop and implement local and regional traffic and transport policies. However, other organizations can also benefit from its products and services, such as interest groups, knowledge institutes, transport companies, and educational institutions. All these target groups can utilize a wide range of resources and activities: a digital library with numerous publications, meetings, newsletters, and discussion platforms (LinkedIn, blogs).

CROW-KpVV is active in the following areas: Collective Transport, Cycling (under the CROW-Fietsberaad brand), Mobility, and Road Design. Within a broad network of other knowledge institutes and social organizations, CROW-KpVV is involved in current developments in decentralized policy and disseminates and secures relevant knowledge. CROW-KpVV identifies new developments, indicates their significance, and outlines potential consequences.
