The mobility transition requires a new distribution of space among pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and cars. Together with you and other stakeholders, we work on a mobility system that is in balance. In this way, we create a safe, accessible, and livable environment together.

The need for mobility is growing, but it is at least as important that demand is changing significantly. For instance, we want to travel smarter and more flexibly. We also want to travel more sustainably, but without compromising too much on comfort and affordability. At the same time, mobility is an intrinsic part of public space. It cannot be seen in isolation from issues in the fields of economy, climate, energy, and digitalization. The mobility of the future therefore requires a new balance. Between individual wishes of users and collective ambitions for livability and climate. Between the costs for governments, market parties, and users.
