Innovation and sustainability

Innovation and sustainability are key pillars within HR Groep Streetcare. Green entrepreneurship is integrated into our business processes in various ways. We like to lead the way in this regard. For example, we supply traffic signs and supports made from various sustainable materials, such as traffic signs made of bamboo and traffic signs and poles made of hemp fibers and recycled plastic. With bamboo, HR Groep Streetcare was the first in the world to introduce a certified alternative to metal traffic signs.

But HR Groep Streetcare is more than just the delivery and installation of products; we help you create a safe and pleasant living environment that can be managed efficiently. This is possible through our Intelligent Public Space Management (IPSm) management platform.

Traffic sign database

IPSm is a national traffic sign database in which the annually updated data of all signs (RVV signs, street name signs, motto signs) are made accessible. Even bollards are registered. With IPSm, you can smartly manage and maintain the objects in your area. Based on visual material, we provide an inspection in which the visual status of the sign and support structure are mapped out. Thanks to this data, as a road authority, you know exactly at any time which signs are in your area, where they are located, and whether your signs are still clearly legible. Information is also recorded regarding sign height, viewing direction in degrees, and distance from the road. This assists with inventory, inspection, maintenance, and management. The management platform, the IPSm app, and the sensors make the assets in your area smarter. This makes it even easier to offer the traffic sign database in an up-to-date and real-time manner at all times. Furthermore, the data is provided with a deep link to current visual material.
