KNAC: pleasure in driving!

The Royal Dutch Automobile Club (KNAC) is the oldest and, with over 13,500 members, also the largest automobile club in the Netherlands, representing the interests of owners of both modern and classic cars. It has done so since the association was founded by the first motorists in 1898.

Now, 125 years later, it is perhaps even more necessary to represent the interests of motorists. The KNAC does this in the Netherlands as a member of the Mobility Alliance and as a government-recognized partner for dialogue in the field of motoring. Internationally, it also operates through the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), of which the KNAC is one of the founding members and is represented on the historic cars commission.

The KNAC not only has an eye for the past but also for the future and intends to remain committed to the pleasure of driving. We want to influence the government's mobility policy and its implementation. In doing so, climate goals must naturally be taken into account, as well as the mobility needs of consumers.
