Renault Trucks
Renault Trucks supplies the entire Dutch market and provides its dealers with a wide range of services, including sales, after-sales, marketing, and support.

In the passenger car market, you can see that zero-emission or fully electric vehicles are available from almost every brand. The situation is somewhat different in the truck market. There are various manufacturers involved, but they cannot yet deliver a factory-built product. They do not yet have their own in-house service. While they can all build the chassis, the conversion ultimately starts with a second or third party. Renault Trucks—partly due to developments at Volvo Bus—offers full factory-built solutions for this. This involves a significant amount of development on our part: we have in-house development for the battery, battery capacity, and efficiency. This makes us unique in the market at the moment; we are currently the only player capable of delivering this.
A strategy has been devised in France. Renault is to become the leading brand for zero emissions. Six pillar countries have been designated in Europe, including the Netherlands. In these countries, zero emission is a key agenda item, and over the next five to ten years, we must fully position ourselves and strengthen our market share in this area. These countries were not chosen at random. They are the countries that already have a network in terms of charging propositions. There is also a favorable climate regarding government policy and subsidies. If there is anywhere we can test the strategy, it is in these countries.
