TU Delft
TU Delft Transport Institute. Sustainable, safe, efficient, accessible, and resilient transport are key research and education themes for TU Delft.

Researchers with backgrounds in traffic engineering, transport technology, ICT, and safety science, as well as mathematics, behavioral science, and policy science, work together in interdisciplinary teams.
They work on theory and modeling of traffic and mobility behavior, road and rail traffic management, cooperative, intelligent, and automated transport systems in road, rail, and water transport, public and intermodal passenger and freight transport, road safety, and transport policy.
Research is conducted in close collaboration with public and private partners, as well as knowledge institutions at home and abroad, and is based on data derived from real-life situations, large-scale experiments, and other empirical research.
This internationally leading research leads to practical applications and forms the basis for the interfaculty MSc program in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics and the MSc programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management.
