Leen Verbeek joins Connekt as special advisor/ambassador

Leen brings a wealth of experience in the fields of mobility, infrastructure, and spatial development. During his career as an alderman, mayor, and King's Commissioner, he was frequently involved in issues at the intersection of accessibility, urbanization, and regional development.
In addition, he served for twenty years as an executive board member of the Amsterdam City Region and later the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, with mobility among his portfolio responsibilities. He was also chairman of the administrative steering group for the introduction of the OV-chipkaart, involved in various studies on the integration of infrastructure into spatial planning issues, and served for a long period as chairman of the Deltametropool Association.
