Connekt Themes
The challenges in mobility and logistics are significant and interconnected. At Connekt, we work on several cross-cutting themes. They form the substantive backbone of our work. Each theme has its own dynamics, but together they form the core of our work: achieving sustainable accessibility by sharing knowledge, establishing contacts, and joining forces.
Based on these themes, we organize meetings, start projects, form coalitions, and build programs that contribute to the Mobility Vision 2050 and the logistics challenges of today and tomorrow.
Mobility
Mobility is under pressure due to growing urbanization, climate goals, and the need for a smarter, safer, and cleaner system. The transition to sustainable modes of transport, the deployment of ITS solutions, the role of digital technology, and the balance between accessibility and livability are central challenges. Within the Connekt network, we work on solutions that are scalable and align with the ambitions of the Mobility Vision 2050.
Logistics
The logistics sector faces major challenges: congestion, CO₂ reduction, supply chain scarcity, optimization of goods flows, personnel shortages, and an increasing dependence on digital information. Added to this is the pressure to function more sustainably, smartly, and resiliently. Connekt works on solutions that bring stability, transparency, and efficiency to complex chains.
Digital infrastructure
A future-proof mobility and logistics sector cannot exist without a solid digital infrastructure. The growth of data flows, new communication technologies (such as 5G/6G), cybersecurity, interoperability, and the proper organization of data sharing at the source require sector-wide coordination. Programs such as the Basic Data Infrastructure (BDI) and agreement frameworks play a crucial role here.
