Connekt Logistics Members' Day: Visualizing the Logistics Chain | October 28, 2026
The renowned Connekt Logistics Members' Day will take place this year in the Port of Rotterdam on Wednesday, October 28, from approx. 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During this day, Connekt brings its members and partners together to address the question:
How do logistics chains remain reliable, affordable, and sustainable heading toward 2040?
Under the title 'Visualizing the Logistics Chain - Rotterdam has it, Rotterdam does it', we follow the journey of goods from the moment they enter Europe via the Port of Rotterdam until the final delivery in the city.
Together with partners from the logistics sector, we explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding:
- international logistics corridors
- the role of Rotterdam as a logistics hub
- multimodal transport and hinterland connections
- capacity and flow in the chain
- sustainability and CO₂ reduction
- data and digitalization
- EU ETS-2, truck levying, and zero-emission zones
- urban logistics and the last mile
Draft Program
The program is still under development, but participants can expect a combination of:
- inspiring substantive contributions
- practical examples from the logistics sector
- contributions from the port, government, and business community
- terminal and/or site visits at the Maasvlakte
