International cooperation
International cooperation is an essential part of Connekt's work. Mobility and logistics do not stop at the border; innovations, standards, and policies develop within an international arena. Connekt plays an active role in this by connecting European programs, international networks such as ITS Nationals, and cross-border projects. We help Dutch organizations join European consortia, share knowledge from Brussels, and bring international insights back to our network. Through this role as a neutral connector, we strengthen the position of the Netherlands in European innovation processes.
Connected to European networks
Connekt is part of the ITS Nationals network, in which European countries collaborate on smart mobility. Through this network, we share knowledge, harmonize standards, and link Dutch stakeholders to international experts and developments. We also maintain close relationships with European institutions, programs, and platforms that shape the mobility and logistics of the future.
Access to EU programs and consortia
Much innovation takes place within European projects. Connekt supports members and public parties in joining EU programs by linking them to consortia, partners, and knowledge from Brussels. Thanks to our experience with international projects and our broad network position, we help organizations better capitalize on opportunities and take the step from idea to implementation.
International knowledge exchange
International exchange makes it possible to learn from examples that are already working elsewhere. Connekt organizes theme-based sessions, meetings, and trips where members gain insight into successful solutions, governance models, and technological applications. We translate these insights into the Dutch context, enabling companies and governments to act more quickly and purposefully.
Member trips as a source of inspiration
For members seeking deeper engagement, Connekt organizes international study trips to leading cities, organizations, and living labs. During these trips, participants meet policymakers, innovators, and market leaders. The insights and contacts gained here often form the basis for new initiatives, collaborations, and investment directions.
International impact through collaboration
Through our role as a neutral connector, we bring international knowledge, partners, and programs together with Dutch practice. This creates synergy: the Netherlands shares knowledge with Europe, and Europe enriches the Netherlands. In this way, we build a mobility and logistics system that is future-proof and competes on a global scale.
