Capgemini is also closely involved in the process surrounding the 2050 mobility vision, in which Connekt works together with public and private parties on an integrated approach for the mobility of the future.

Make it real: from vision to implementation

Capgemini's new slogan is 'make it real'. What is the main motivation for being a member of Connekt? Capgemini helps organizations actually realize their vision and ambitions in an era where AI and digital technologies create enormous opportunities and challenges.

The Connekt network provides access to a broad and innovative ecosystem of market parties, governments, and knowledge institutions. These are key stakeholders for bringing sustainable accessibility from vision to implementation.

Within Connekt, Capgemini focuses on the major transformation in mobility and accessibility. In line with the 2050 mobility vision, this involves achieving a seamless sustainable mobility offering, but also managing the demand for mobility. Topics such as spreading & avoiding and pricing are essential here. Capgemini: “To make optimal use of the available capacity in our transport system, we need to organize more intelligently. We can add a lot of value in this regard together with Connekt and its members.”

From promises to application

Capgemini sees a challenge in moving from great promises surrounding AI and digital technologies to concrete application and results.

“You don't find that value by asking the question 'what problems could you solve with data', but rather by working backward from the major challenges. What is needed to achieve actual change, for example, when it comes to sustainable accessibility? Connekt has the broad network to organize and facilitate this.”

Building the 2050 mobility vision together

This year, Capgemini helped Connekt develop an approach to contribute, together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, to the (regional) concretization of the 2050 mobility vision.

“In addition, we are working on setting up projects for case studies to apply this approach in practice. This is something that fits perfectly with our motto 'make it real' and which we look forward to building on together with Connekt and its network in 2026!”

Moving from the 2050 mobility vision to concrete action in 2026 requires cooperation between market parties, knowledge organizations, and governments, for which Connekt is the designated network. Let’s make it real together!
