The transition to sustainable modes of transport, the deployment of ITS solutions, the role of digital technology, and the balance between accessibility and livability are central challenges. Within the Connekt network, we work on solutions that are scalable and align with the ambitions of the Mobility Vision 2050.
The Mobility Vision 2050 as a substantive framework
The Mobility Vision 2050 serves as an important compass for our work. This vision calls for maintaining the accessibility of crucial facilities, rather than just solving bottlenecks.
Connekt helps translate this vision into implementation by:
- organizing an integrated approach in which mobility, healthcare, spatial planning, energy, and digitalization are connected;
- choosing cases that have urgency;
- determining with stakeholders which levers have the most impact;
- collaborating across domains;
- supporting regional implementation;
- creating administrative legitimacy to scale up.
Accelerating MoVi2050 requires organizational power, and that is exactly where Connekt plays a flywheel role.
Current projects
Within mobility, Connekt works on programs and cases involving intelligent transport systems, vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, behavioral influence, multimodal mobility, and data-driven policymaking. We connect public clients, market parties, and knowledge institutions to develop innovations and scale them from concept to practical application.
