How we work on themes
At Connekt, we continuously work on themes that determine the mobility and logistics of tomorrow. We gather signals from our network, follow trends and developments, and consciously choose which topics to explore further. Every quarter, we select a promising theme, bring relevant parties together, and test whether there is sufficient urgency, impact, support, and commitment to move forward. Only when real momentum is created does a topic grow into an active Connekt theme. This allows us to focus our energy on themes where we, as a network, can make a difference and achieve acceleration together.

Active themes
Behavior
Measures that respond to people's travel behavior are playing an increasingly important role in mobility policy. Within this theme, we are working on a structural knowledge base so that we can continuously learn from each other instead of starting over every time.

Automated transport
Automated transport is changing the way we organize mobility and logistics. From driving task support to fully self-driving vehicles: development is rapid and requires cooperation between government, the business community, and knowledge institutions. Connekt brings parties together to interpret these developments and translate them into practice, policy, and cooperation in the Netherlands and Europe.

Mobility data
Mobility data forms the basis for smart mobility and efficient logistics. From traffic management and travel information to logistics planning and innovative mobility services: reliable data enables better decisions. Connekt connects government, the market, and knowledge institutions to work together on a future-proof mobility data ecosystem.

Cyber resilience
Digitalization makes mobility and logistics smarter, but also more vulnerable. Cyber resilience is therefore a prerequisite for safe and reliable mobility systems. Connekt supports the sector in raising awareness and connecting parties regarding the implementation of the new Cybersecurity Act (Cbw).

Themes under exploration
Organizing differently
Because increasing the mobility supply is becoming increasingly difficult, there is a growing focus on influencing mobility demand. Within this theme, we explore the potential of organizing work, education, and healthcare differently in order to travel less (far), at different times, or in different ways.

Intelligent access
Within cities, the question is increasingly: who gets access to the city and when? Based on that question, we are exploring how we can make access to Dutch cities as clear, predictable, and simple as possible for the user, without losing local policy freedom.
