On Tuesday, June 12 the Top Sector Logistics and Connekt are organizing a meeting on the publications Outlook City Logistics and Outlook Hinterland & Continental Freight. This will be held at Connekt (Ezelsveldlaan 59, Delft).
Achieving the ‘Paris’ climate targets, including improving the C02 performance of logistics by a factor of 6, is an important area of focus for the new Dutch government. The Outlook City Logistics 2017 has already outlined a plausible path towards this goal for each segment. Such a roadmap has now also been worked out for the other key logistics flow: Hinterland & Continental Freight.
In the area of City Logistics the next challenge has been taken up: mapping out the 10-year period up to 2030 in concrete terms for each segment. What does a measure cost? How effective is it in terms of reducing emissions? How easy or difficult will it be to introduce this measure? And what side effects will it have, in the area of competitiveness for example?
The program is as follows:
12.30 p.m. – 1.30 p.m. Lunch
1.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. Parallel session: Outlook City Logistics
1.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. Parallel session: Outlook Hinterland & Continental Freight
3.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Drinks
On Tuesday, June 12 you will have the chance to find out the latest insights gained from both Outlooks.
