On Tuesday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, a meeting on the subject of the Automated Driving Knowledge Agenda will be held at Connekt (Ezelsveldlaan 59, Delft). The knowledge agenda is based around five key themes (impact, deployment, legal issues, technical issues and human factors). At this meeting the subject of deployment will be examined in more detail.

Here the emphasis will be on sharing knowledge of the deployment-related aspects of automated driving. Conditions and frameworks will also be identified and placed on the agenda so that the testing and implementation of automated driving can be developed further.

 


The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

–       Overview of international roadmaps for automated driving, by Tom Alkim

–       Overview of pilots, by Tom Alkim

–       Discussion on successful aspects needed for deployment; introduction by Bart van Arem:

o    Relationship with traffic management

o    Societal impact

o    Awareness

o    Aspects yet to be determined

–       Agreements on the next steps for the round table
