Velo-city is the world’s biggest cycling conference and attracts around 15,000 participants when it is held in Europe. The four-day program is organized by a different city every year. A European city hosts Velo-city one year, and the event is held on another continent the next. Visitors come together to discuss the latest cycling innovations, to exchange ideas and to find out more about how cities and regions can be made bicycle-friendly.
As previously announced, the Arnhem-Nijmegen City Region will be organizing this major international cycling conference in 2017. Velo-city 2017 will be held from Tuesday, June 13 to Friday, June 16, 2017. On Monday, June 12 a scientific symposium will be organized ahead of the conference.
