Thursday, June the 3rd, Henk Kamp, Minister of Economic Affairs, unveiled the capsule of Delft Hyperloop. Prince Constantijn was asked for a reaction. He praised the design and remarked that the next step is the application of Hyperloop. That is exactly what is intended with the Dutch Hyperloop Challenge organized by Connekt: generating smart ideas for applying Hyperloop.

What is the Challenge?
The Dutch Hyperloop Challenge calls for ideas and concepts that focus on the application, on societal impact, on economic growth, on what-if ideas, in-the-box or out-of-the-box. For transport of goods and/or people. Mars Geuze, Chief Technical Officer of the Delft Hyperloop team and member of the jury of the Dutch Hyperloop Challenge, agrees that it is now time to think of concepts for the deployment of Hyperloop: “The technological foundation of Hyperloop has been laid, the next milestoneĀ is choosing a suitable application to showcase the commercial viability of the concept.”
